Hey my loves! Mother’s Day is on May 12th and I wanted to make a gift guide featuring cruelty free products to help you out when shopping for gifts this year! I decided to break it into three categories: fragrance, skincare & body care – so you’ll be able to find something that your Mother will love! These are all different price ranges too so I’m sure something will fit into your budget. I personally love shopping at Ulta for beauty products since they always have a coupon available and typically have some pretty great deals. Right now, if you spend $40 on fragrance, you’ll get a free tote with your purchase!
Fragrance
Marc Jacobs Daisy Roller Ball Trio Box – $45
I think that roller ball sets are a really nice gift! You get the option to try out a few different fragrances without having to buy a full sized bottle or get a tiny sample. This makes it easier for someone to really try out the fragrance to see if they like it. I personally LOVE the smell of the Daisy perfume. I haven’t tried the other versions, but I’m sure they smell great too! |
|
DefineMe Fragrance Roller Ball Sampler Set – $21 Here is another roller ball sampler set. I haven’t tried DefineMe yet but I’ve really wanted to after hearing a review from Rhian HY! I think this would be a good gift because there’s lots of different scents to choose from so there has to be one in there that she’ll like…maybe she’ll even share with you! I also love the illustrations and “personality” that they’ve given each fragrance. |
|
Harvey Prince Hello Perfume – $57 So this fragrance isn’t available at Ulta, but I just had to include it. I got a sample of “Hello” in a box from somewhere and I absolutely fell in love with it. It is such a gorgeous scent and it’s definitely perfect for Spring. Harvey Prince is cruelty free & vegan and I like their philosophy. |
Skincare
Andalou Naturals Age Defying Kit – $19.99 Skincare is important no matter what your age is. I think that this age-defying kit would be perfect as a Mother’s day gift! This kit includes cleansing milk, a toning refresher, an enzyme mask, a peptide perfecting cream and a night repair cream – everything you’d need to start a new skincare regime! |
|
The Body Stop Drops of Youth Set – $49 This is also a good set to get into a skincare routine! I love The Body Shop and so does my mom, so I know that this would be perfect for her. It comes with a youth concentrate and a face cream. |
|
Michael Todd Beauty 3-in-1 Anti-Aging Eye Corrector – $89 So this is the most expensive thing in this gift guide, but I do think that it’s worth the price. I got my sister a Soniclear from Michael Todd a few years ago for Christmas and she loves it – so I know that Michael Todd is a reliable brand. So this set comes with an intensive eye cream treatment meant to reduce fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. This set also comes with a rechargeable Sonic eraser which is an “infusion” device that will make your products reach the deeper layers of your skin. |
Body Care
Ulta Beauty Coconut Cream Body Wash – $9.50 You can never go wrong with giving body wash as a gift! It’s frustrating when you run out without realizing and don’t have any back ups to use (unless this only happens to me? hm…) I’ve tried this body wash before in a travel size when I went on a cruise. It smells great and works well – they have other scents too so pick what your mom would like best! These are a great alternative to Bath & Body Works who are NOT cruelty free. |
|
Ulta Beauty Peppermint Moisturizing Foot Balm – $12.50 This is unfortunately sold out while this post is going up, but try to see if you can find it in your local Ulta store! I think this would be a great item to throw into a pedicure basket that you could easily gift your Mom. Grab a couple of nail polishes (I suggest ORLY or Wet N Wild!), a nail file or two, and a bath salt so she can soak her feet. The possibilities are endless! |
|
Ulta Beauty Brightening Vitamin C Body Scrub – $18.50 I looooove body scrubs. I think this one would be perfect as a Mother’s Day gift. You could also add this to a basket with some lotion and a new pair of slippers for a personalized gift! |
That’s it for the Mother’s Day Gift Guide! I hope you enjoyed the post. Did anything in this guide spark your interest? Let me know 🙂 Thanks so much for reading, as always <3
