I can’t believe that it’s already December! It’s crazy how quickly this year has flown by. I’m sure that by now someone has asked you what you want for Christmas (or whichever holiday you celebrate) and you might not know what to give them for an idea. I never know what to ask for Christmas, especially because I’m the kind of person that if I want it – I’ll buy it myself. However, if you need some ideas of some “different” things to put on your list, keep on reading!
Glasses from Warby Parker
You might be thinking, “Rae, what?”, but hear me out! If you need a prescription for glasses, you know how expensive they can be and how hard it is to find a great looking pair for a great price. I spent maybe an hour trying to find the right pair of glasses for me the last time I had an eye exam, I’m pretty sure the guy waiting on me was getting a bit irritated since I was taking so long. Warby Parker offers a FREE Home Try-On option so you can try multiple frames out in the comfort of your own home. You can take all the time you need, just ship them back after 5 days and if you’re not pleased with the ones you selected, you can always grab more the next time. Not only does Warby Parker offer quality frames & lenses for a great price, they also have awesome travel cases, cleaning kits and cases to hold one pair of frames. They also have gift cards which is the bomb, you really can’t lose.

WeatherTech Car Liners
I don’t know about you, but I hate cleaning my car. I feel like no matter how many times I clean it, it doesn’t look clean. The floor mats that I currently have in my car aren’t the perfect fit and so much of the car floor is exposed because of that. WeatherTech car liners are literally perfect to solve all my problems. Since these are a bit on the pricey side, that’s why I’m deciding to put them on my Christmas list! They’re practical and safer (since my floor mats constantly shift). I think it’s really cool that these are specifically made to fit your car perfectly and cover more area than normal floor mats. I think they’re definitely worth the investment.
Smart Home Technology from Nest
I’m not sure how many of my readers are living on their own yet, but I think that having some smart home technology is a great idea. I know that some people are super iffy about this kind of stuff, however, I think it’s awesome. From thermostats that you can control from your phone while you’re away to smart locks and doorbells, they’ve got you covered. Especially around this time of year with package snatchers, it’s always a good idea to have a bit of extra protection for your home.
Weighted Blanket
I’m sure you’ve seen weighted blankets around. They’re a pretty hot topic right now and for good reason. Weighted blankets are good to help reduce stress (there’s science behind it). They are good for individuals who have anxiety or sensory issues but I feel like pretty much anyone would be able to benefit from one. I always have a blanket on me, regardless of the temperature. I just like the feeling of having something on me (that sounds so weird), it’s comforting. I bet you’d get such a good nights sleep with this blanket!
A Voucher for a Class
I don’t know about you, but I love learning and I love making things with my hands. I think that getting a voucher for an art class would be a great gift. You could do a Paint Nite class and leave with a canvas painted by you, or you could do a glass blowing class – there’s so many options. I think this would be awesome to receive and you could even use the class to make something for someone else or yourself. I definitely want to take a glass blowing class in the future or maybe a ceramics class, where you would work on the wheel.
I hope you enjoyed the post. What’s something on your wishlist? Let me know! 🙂
Thanks so much for reading, as always <3
