SKINCARE

How many times do you wash your face daily?

Once a day, I can’t wash it more than that since my skin is sensitive & dry.

What skin type do you have? 

Sometimes dry, sometimes oily. My hormones have been messing it up like crazy!

What is your current facial wash?

It’s a toss up between Pacifica’s Quinoa Face Wash & Tarte’s Deep Dive Cleansing Gel.

Do you exfoliate?

I use a Clarisonic and that seems to do the job for me but if I need a little more help, I use the glow baby scrub by Pacifica.

What brand do you use?

What moisturizer do you use?

The day & night youth cream by Pacifica.

Do you have freckles?

Yes I do! I love them.

Do you use eye cream?

I don’t use it daily but I use it when I think of it.

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

I have never really had acne prone skin in my teen years but now with hormonal changes (birth control) my face seems to break out more and is more sensitive.

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

No, thankfully. I’m honestly not even sure if Pro-Activ ever worked for anyone I knew.

MAKE-UP

What foundation do you use?

I use Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation in Fair Neutral.

How about concealer?

I use NYX’s HD concealer in porcelain and I also use the profustion concealer palette.

Do you know your undertone color?

Cool toned! You can see blue veins all over me haha.

What do you think of fake eyelashes?

I think they can make or break a look. I don’t have the patience to put them on though, unfortunately.

Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?

No I didn’t, but it makes sense. You have to change your toothbrush every three months, so why not mascara too? (does anyone ever really get rid of their makeup when it’s past the date…?)

What brand of mascara do you use?

I switch between Tarte & Too Faced.

Sephora or MAC?

Sephora!

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

Nope. I don’t support MAC.

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for foundation and concealer and that’s pretty much it. I like my Furless brushes for my eye makeup and setting with powder.

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

I usually just bring my concealer over my eyelids.

For the face?

I’ve been loving the Hangover Primer from Too Faced.

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?

I like Nudie from the Too Faced Natural Mattes palette.

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

Liquid if I feel like it.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

Not too often! I usually always poke my eye when putting on mascara though.

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?

They intimidate me.

Do you use mineral makeup?

I used to use bareMinerals but stopped, not sure why though.

What is your favorite lipstick?

Hm…right now it’s Echo Park from Colourpop.

How about lipgloss?

I’m not a gloss kind of gal.

What is your favorite blush to use?

Oasis by Tarte!

Do you buy your makeup on ebay?

No, I don’t trust that at all.

Do you like drugstore makeup?

Absolutely, you can find lots of affordable cruelty free brands at the drugstore.

-Do you go to CCO’s? (cosmetic company outlets)

Never heard of these, so no.

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

Not really, I like learning on my own and in the comfort of my own home.

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

Absolutely. I get mascara everywhere.

Name a makeup crime that you hate?

I think makeup is an art and that it really can’t be done wrong, so personally I don’t believe in makeup crimes.

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

Definitely neutral.

Which celebrity always has great make up? 

Blake Lively. My favorite woman.

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?

Mascara!

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?

Absolutely, I usually do if I’m in a rush.

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

Personally, no. But I embrace it.

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?

It’s a cross between Tarte & Too Faced for me. I love them both!

What do you think of Makeup? 

I love makeup and love that so many people use it to express themselves, as it should be. Makeup makes me feel more confident and I enjoy wearing it.
