Hey loves! Time for another review from Valentia! I love Valentia’s skincare products so I was really excited to try out the Night Revive Retinol Serum. Although I am young, I still have wrinkles and one smile line that really bothers me lately, so I’m happy that this serum has retinol in it to help collagen production to reduce wrinkles. I honestly think preventative care is best (whether that be to prevent pregnancies, tons of advil & water to avoid a hangover or starting with wrinkle treatments earlier!)
Valentia is a skincare line, by women for everyone! All of their products are cruelty free and made with natural ingredients. I’m pretty sure all of their products are vegan (don’t quote me on this though) as well and they use sustainable energy to produce all of their products.
Read more about this serum (all info straight from their site):
A potent blend of Retinol, with essential vitamins and botanicals specifically chosen to enhance Retinols efficacy work together to create the serum your skin care dreams are made of. Retinol works down to the cellular level to stimulate collagen production and diminish even the deepest of wrinkles. Vitamin C helps Retinol penetrate deeper into the skin, while Vitamin E and Squalane nourish and hydrate, counteracting the drying effects of Retinol and maximizing anti-aging benefits. This transformative retinol serum will turn back the clock, giving you visibly smoother, rejuvenated skin.
Short term results:
- conditions and nourishes skin
- manages breakouts
- more luminous complexion
Long term results:
- evens skin discoloration
- stimulates collagen production
- diminishes fine lines & wrinkles
It’s really liquidy like you can see in the picture, but absorbs nicely into the skin! You can see the glow it gave my hand already, haha.
So, to use:
Shake lightly. Apply to face and neck after cleansing, before moisturizer.
After I cleanse my face, I’ve been applying it to my face like it says. I apply it in an upwards motion, away from the face to prevent anymore wrinkles or skin pulling! After I apply it all over my face, I lightly tap it in then I go to bed. Since retinol can make your skin extra sensitive to the sun, definitely use an SPF the following morning! I have sensitive skin so I use this once a week, which seems to work for me. I have noticed a nicer complexion. My fine lines (the few I have) have been starting to disappear and haven’t become as noticable. I’ve also noticed my face looking healthier, if that makes any sense. (Do I ever make sense?!) It definitely isn’t greasy feeling and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It’s actually kind of nice to give myself a mini facial before bed 🙂
Have you tried a retinol serum/skincare item before? Let me know if you have and what you liked about it 🙂

This stuff sounds lovely! I don’t think I’ve ever tried a retinol serum before, but perhaps it’s time I did. Thanks for sharing 🙂
