I love food and I love healthy food that tastes good. I definitely don’t have the best eating habits, but I am trying to eat more organic foods that are good for you.
I reached out to Artisana Organics about trying some of their products to share with my readers what I thought about them, so if you’re interested in hearing about some awesome raw + organic foods, then keep on reading!
Artisana carries different types of nut butters, coconut oil & butter, squeeze packs, chocolate spreads, and chocolate bars. They are also 100% peanut free, from source to jar so if you have peanut allergies, you can count on Artisana to provide you peanut free alternative butters.
Here are some of the squeeze packs that I received. The nut butter squeeze packs are great for on the go, especially for you college kids (or others in a rush). Just grab an apple with you and a squeeze pack and you have a delicious snack that’s guilt free. I think it’s super cool that they put coconut oil in a package, because it would be handy for traveling. (I use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup and I obviously don’t want to take a huge glass jar along if I travel, so these packets are so convenient!) I’m not quite sure how to use coconut butter, but I have heard that you can use it as a butter alternative (lol, obvi rae!)
I decided to eat some cashew nut butter with apple slices (apples + peanut butter are my fave snack, but I prefer this alternative). Cashews are my favorite nut, so it’s no surprise that I absolutely loved this nut butter. It’s so smooth and creamy, but not “heavy” like some peanut butters can be (does anyone else think that peanut butter is “heavy” or just me?) It tastes amazing and I really liked it with the apples. I’m excited to try out the other squeeze packs with some fruit or other snacks.
Here are the jars of products that I received. I’m really excited to try out the coconut butter for cooking, my mom has started to switch towards a paleo diet, so maybe she’ll start to use the coconut butter too. The raw walnut butter looks amazing and it has cashews in it too, so I’m sure it’s going to be super tasty. I kind of want to try it out on a sandwich with jelly, so instead of a PB+J it would be W+J (walnut + jelly). I already use coconut oil daily, so I definitely will get good use out of it! My mom uses a different brand of coconut oil to cook with, but I’m not sure if it’s raw, so I think I might sneak this jar into the kitchen cabinets.
Overall, I’m super pleased with the quality and mission of Artisana Organics and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for something new to try. Their customer service is great & they carefully packaged all my goods for me.
What’s your favorite type of nut butter? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have an awesome day.
