The end of the college year has already hit us, but highschool will be getting out before we know it! Exams will soon be over, and we’ll all be free to enjoy the summer! Are you as excited as I am? But that doesn’t mean we should forget our teachers just yet. Do you have a particular favorite who has put in a lot of extra work to help you achieve the grades you need? Then how about thanking them with a small gift? If you’re not sure what to get them, don’t sweat. Here are some thoughtful ways you could thank your favorite teacher.
A Thank You Card
Sending a card or a thank you letter to teacher is a discrete way to show how thankful you are. You don’t have to say much in it. Just a couple of quick lines about how much you really appreciate all the hard work and effort they put in. And also mention how grateful you are that you were able to reach your goals thanks to them!
If you know your teacher loves tea or coffee, think about buying them a special mug. You can now buy special ‘Best Teacher Mugs’ that he or she can proudly display on their desk. Some shops and online stores might even be able to personalize them. Instead of just a mug on its own, think about getting a gift set. Head to your nearest gift shop for mugs filled with teddy bears or chocolate truffles.
Chocolates
Does your teacher have a sweet tooth? Then how about indulging it with some chocolates! They will have worked so hard trying to help you get ready for your finals; they’ll certainly deserve indulging in a sweet treat! You’ll be able to pick up a box of nice chocolates or candies at your local supermarket. Alternatively, if you would rather keep things cheap, try making your own at home.
Nothing says ‘thank you’ quite like a big bunch of flowers. They will look fabulous on your teacher’s desk. Try to find out his or her favorite flower. If you can’t find this out, it doesn’t matter. Speak to your local florist to see if they can come up with a colorful assortment of flowers. As it is almost summer, you will be able to get a lot of vibrant summer flowers. Perfect for creating a lively and colorful bouquet!
A Bottle Of Wine
Every teacher loves wine! Kicking back with a nice glass of red is a great way to relax after a stressful day teaching. So wine is the perfect gift for your favorite teacher. Pop the bottle in a special wine gift bag and add a nice ribbon so it looks great. Then pop it on their desk. You’ll notice their face light up as soon as they realize what it is! For an extra special gift, think about adding some cheese or dark chocolate to the present. Or any nibbles that go well with wine. (I obviously wouldn’t suggest buying wine for your highschool teacher, but maybe for your favorite professor!)
Now you should have loads of cool ideas when it comes to thanking your teacher!
