Hey my loves! So as you can tell by the title, I’ll be reviewing another collection from Hask. I love their products, which if you’ve been here a while, you already know that. They’re cruelty-free, affordable and paraben free + more. This collection is exclusive to Ulta, so make sure that the next time you stop there that you grab this collection!
This is a new collection called Biotin Boost and it’s supposed to thicken your hair without leaving it weighed down or greasy! This kind of reminded me of their Volumizing collection, but this one is a bit different since it’s all about thickening (and trust me, I NEED my hair to start looking thicker!)
So the shampoo doesn’t have the best smell in the world, but it is something I can live with, especially if it gives me the results I want (the scent doesn’t cling to your hair, so once your rinse it out you’re in the clear). I’m always pleased with Hask products, so I knew this one wouldn’t disappoint.
The conditioner smells better than the shampoo and left my hair so soft! One thing I hate about some conditioners is that they don’t condition enough, so my hair still feels dry after rinsing but that didn’t happen which I’m so happy about.
The thickening cream is something you would apply to towel dried hair and blow dry it or let it air dry. This adds volume without making your strands feel sticky or heavy, which I’m sure we all hate when that happens! The trio of biotin, collagen and coffee enhance the appearance of your hair and make it appear thicker.
The results were pretty quick after my hair air dried. I could tell that there was a lot of lift towards my roots, which is something I need otherwise my hair just lays flat on my head. The overall texture of my hair was better too, the conditioner really seemed to smooth out my locks and my hair did look pretty fabulous if I do say so myself.
Overall, another Hask collection that knocks it out of the park! I’ve never been disappointed with a Hask product and I’ve really been dying to try their dry shampoo which comes in a GINORMOUS can, so I’m deco adding that to my wishlist!
Have you tried Hask before? Let me know 🙂
I hope you enjoyed the post.
Thanks so much for reading, as always <3
Xoxo, Rae
