Hello there and welcome to my blog! My name is Raeanne, but you can call me Rae if you want. My blog, Raechic, is a cruelty free blog! I focus on cruelty free beauty, budget-friendly products, fashion with the occasional DIY tutorial or college related post. Sometimes I just blabber…I hope you won’t mind!
I’m a 27-year-old from the lovely state of Massachusetts. I finally graduated college and got my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and I hope to have a successful career in the future. My dream job would to have my own stationery business, but we’ll see. I freelance on the side, so if you ever need help with your blog theme or website, please get in touch!
Raechic started back in February 2015 as a way to express myself and to raise awareness about animal testing in the beauty industry. I always knew that animal testing was a thing, but I didn’t know how bad it actually was. During one of my graphic design classes, we were assigned to design a series of poster of a social issue. I chose animal testing and preformed research on the topic. The research taught me how far science has come along and how testing on animals is no longer necessary nor accurate. Since that assignment, I started to devote my time to make sure that I only purchase cruelty free beauty products and share my favorites with others on my blog and Instagram.
