Hey my loves! It’s been awhile since I did a goals posts so I thought I would do one for today. I think it’s a great way to start the month off!
1.) Be more active on Instagram.
My Instagram has definitely been lacking in posts lately so I really want to get more active on it. I would like to post at least once a day, which is why I’m going to take part of Megan’s August photo challenge! I’m hoping that having a prompt will help me to keep motivated to post. I guess we’ll see how that goes!
2.) Get into a routine.
My life is pretty all over the place and it makes it hard for me to get some things done every day, it also doesn’t help that I’m incredibly lazy. I started to bullet journal, which if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen my first spreads. But I put in some habit trackers and I hope that will get me into a good routine, like waking up at the same time every day and making sure to take my vitamins.
3.) Work out at least once a week.
I know that I should be working out multiple times during the week, but with my work schedule, it’s a little tough. I’m going to aim for at least one time a week just to get it thrown into my routine and see how we go from there. I really need to become more active!
4.) A better sleeping pattern.
I love to sleep and I think I love it a little bit too much. I could sleep all day without a problem and I know most people probably couldn’t. Most days I go to bed super late, then wake up at 11 am or later, which really isn’t healthy – plus it’s a waste of a day. I want to start going to bed at a certain time and waking up before 9 am.
5.) Drink more water!
I drink a lot of water when I’m at work since that’s all we’re allowed to have, but other than that – I don’t drink a ton. Water is amazing for your body and for your skin so I really need to start drinking more of it. Maybe I’ll add a water tracker into my bullet journal next month!

Those are great goals! I definitely have some of the same ones! I really want to get back into yoga this month too, I’m not sure why I stopped! Have a great August!

I think these are goals everyone should aspire to! Maybe not instagram as that’s not everyone’s priority, but definitely the others!
Small changes lead to bigger things and self improvement as always beneficial no matter what it is.

Lol! U will never know how validating it was to hear someone else voice that working out once a week is a legitimate goal! With all these fitness blogs… and getting overwhelmed with all we should be doing…! Now we can finally say I commit to working out once a week. I am constantly trying to figure out how anyone who isn’t a fitness instructor ever has time to work out! Never enough hours in the day! Thank u so much for this post!!!! 🙂
