Love Goodly Aug/Sept 2018 Unboxing & Review

This is a little bit (okay, a lotta bit!) late, but better late than never, right? Today I’m sharing my most recent Love Goodly box. Love Goodly is a bi-monthly cruelty free & vegan beauty subscription box. The box is $34.95 bi-monthly and you get over $80+ worth of products in each box. They also have an online store where you can purchase brands that have been in previous boxes. I’ve been subscribed to Love Goodly for a while now and I like that you can skip your next box if you wish, which I’ve had to do a couple of times. You can read my previous unboxings here!

Like most subscription boxes, you get a card telling you what’s inside and it’s value. This box had $88+ value and I got 5 full sized items.

Everything Branded – Stainless Straw – $3.50

First up is this awesome stainless straw! I love that this was something we got in our box because I’ve been wanting to purchase one for daily use.

Axiology Natural Lipstick – The Goodness – $30

Next up is a lipstick from Axiology in the shade the Goodness. First of all, I love the packaging. The graphic designer in me gets so happy when I see cute packaging for products.

The lipstick comes in a pretty gold bullet case and I think it’s gorgeous.

The shade is a pretty nude with some shimmer. It’s definitely not a color that I would wear everyday, but it is a stunning color. I think I’ll be wearing it on Thanksgiving!

Balanced Guru – Organic Balanced Scalp Treatment – $23

Here we have a scalp treatment, which is something I’ve never seen or heard of before. This claims to alleviate the need for dry shampoo since it’s supposed to balance the oils that are already on our scalp (I’m a bit skeptical).

I like the bottle that it comes in and it has a dropper so it would make it easier to apply to your scalp. I have yet to try this out, but I’m curious about it since I get oily pretty quickly sometimes.

Doctor Rogers – Restore Healing Balm – $30

This is a petroleum free balm that can help with many skin ailments, like chapped lips, dry/cracked skin, to cover cuts/scrapes and more. It’s safe for sensitive and injured skin and I must say, this stuff is a lifesaver.

I like the packaging a lot, too. It’s in a metal tube and again, reminds me of the olden days. I really like to use this stuff on my cuticles – my hands get super dry because I work with paper and boxes all day at work. It also works wonders on the lips too!

Hippeas – Vegan White Cheddar Snack – $2

Last, but not least is a bag of Hippeas! I’ve never heard of this brand before but I was super stoked to try them out. I love chickpeas and I love things in puff form, so this is a win win for me. White cheddar flavor is also a win in my book! I like the price of these, I think they’re affordable and they’re so tasty. I definitely want to try out some of their other flavors!

Welp, I hope you enjoyed the post! What subscription boxes are you subscribed to? Let me know!

Thanks so much for reading, as always <3

Love Goodly April/May 2017 Unboxing

Hello my loves! You know how much I love getting the Love Goodly boxes every other month, but unfortunately – I need to stop my subscription because I’m getting an apartment and money will be tight, but also because I have SO much stuff that I don’t know what to do with! I’m a hoarder, so I have a ton of stuff and I never really get the chance to fully use it all. Maybe at a later date I’ll resubscribe (since I really did enjoy this box!) But anyways…let’s get into the goods.

100% Pure is an amazing brand! I love their foundation and primer and I’ve been wanting to try their other products. This is the maracuja oil mascara in black which is colored by black tea. It’s full of natural, nourishing ingredients so your lashes will look ahhhmazing with or without the mascara! This retails for $25, so that’s pretty much the cost of the sub box.

Next up is this Vitamin C body polish from One Love Organics. I loooove body scrubs since I have such dry skin and they just make me feel refreshed, y’know? I can’t wait to try this bad boy out on my problem areas, since they claim that it will give you supremely soft, luminous skin. (I’ll keep you updated, hopefully lol) I also love the packaging! This retails for $48, so we’re already over the price of the box! They have a rewards program on their site, which is really cool. There’s nothing better than getting rewarded for spending your money, right?! Sign up here and get a $5 coupon.

I’ve never used a Konjac sponge before, but I’ve always wanted to try one. I love that they’re biodegradable and chemical free. It looks like using this sponge has incredible benefits, according to their website. I’m not exactly sure how to use it, but they say to soak it then just use like a regular sponge? I’ll let you know how it goes – maybe I’ll be forever changed!

Last, but definitely not least! These are eye masks from 100% Pure that I’m super excited about. Rhian HY always talks about them on YouTube and she’s my favorite, so whatever she says, goes. I have really dark circles under my eyes sometimes, because of how fair I am so I really think these will come in handy! I like how they sell singles or you can buy them in a pack.

So, that’s everything in this Love Goodly box! I really enjoyed getting these and I really did enjoy the products I received in past boxes. I hope you liked the unboxing posts!

Thanks so much for reading, as always <3

Love Goodly Feb/March Box

Wow…it’s been quite a while, and I have a reason for that! I’m currently working on the post to go up in the next few days, so here is an unboxing of Love Goodly. Love Goodly is a bi-monthly subscription box full of eco friendly, vegan and cruelty free products for only $30 every other month. Each box has a value of $85+ and it’s a good way to try out some new products and brands. This is my favorite box right now and the only one I’ve kept my subscription to for a while! It doesn’t look like they have a coupon code for your first box right now, but if I find one – I’ll let you know! P.S. each box supports a different charity to help support animal (this box helped the Beagle Freedom Project).

This box comes with a recipe card and a list of the items and their value, which I find helpful. The recipe that we got in this box was an Apple, Grapefruit and Pomegranate Salad which does sound pretty tasty.

Active Calm Moisturizer | Full Size | $29

The first item I noticed in the box was this moisturizer from Yuni. This is a full sized item and it retails for $29. I have gotten body wipes from Yuni before but I haven’t used them yet. I am excited to try this out when I get the chance (currently trying to use up the moisturizers I have). It has some pretty great claims and is anti-aging and all natural, which is muy bien.

Sunshine Oil | Full Size (?) (Maybe a sample?)  | $18

I’ve gotten a roll-on oil from Orglamix before and I absolutely love it. It’s called Chill Pill and I use it before bed and whenever I feel like I have too much going on in my life. This oil however, is for skincare and not for self care (although skincare counts for self care too, right?) I’m always iffy about putting oils on my skin, especially since my hormones are unpredictable but I do want to try this out – it’s getting cold again in Massachusetts which means more dull and dry skin for me! On the card in the box it says it’s extremely concentrated, so only use a little. I’ll let you guys know how it goes!

Cream Luminizer | Full Size | $18

Having a good glow is really in right now, and if you’re looking for a subtle highlight – this is for you! It’s a cream luminizer so it’s really easy to use and looks natural on the skin. Use it alone or on top of foundation, or layer it with other highlighters for a dramatic pop. I can’t wait to start wearing this! It’s a gorgeous pinky nude and I’m sure it would look great on any skintone.

Open Weave Scarf / One Size / $22

Last, but not least – this awesome FAIR TRADE scarf! I wasn’t expecting a non-beauty item in this box, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw this bad boy. I’m a sucker for scarves and the fact that this one is handmade and fair trade. The colors aren’t exactly my favorite, but I’m sure I can find something to wear it with! Perhaps a black or grey tee – what do you think? 🙂

Wellppp, that’s all for the box! Overall, I’m pleased with another Love Goodly box. I kind of wish LG was monthly, but it’s kind of nice having something to look forward to every other month and not feel rushed to try products, like I felt with ipsy and other monthly boxes.

What’s your favorite subscription box? Let me know 🙂

I hope you enjoyed the post – I apologize for being away for so long!
