Spring will be here before we know it, and I may or may not be counting down the days until… Spring is one of my favorite seasons because it’s not too hot or too cold, I also feel like a lot of good things just happen during spring. Anyone else?
I put together a few outfits on Polyvore that are totally spring appropriate and really cute. I hope you get some inspiration from these outfits, tag me on twitter or instagram if you do!
This one is called Addison and features mainly black clothing, which may not seem spring like but some people just feel more comfortable and confident in darker colors (me included). This is a very simple outfit that you could pull off with things you already have in your closet! I’m totally loving the Nike Roshes as everyday shoes (although I don’t have a pair myself). I think they’re very stylish and popular now. I kept the accessories simple, just a ball cap with a cheeky saying and a chic pair of sunglasses.
This next outfit is called Laura, which is inspired by girls on my campus who wear relaxed clothing but dress it up with accessories. I’m LOVING the boyfriend jean trend that I need to get my hands on a pair (or 5). The tank top adds a nice amount of color and keeps the look relaxed, since it’s flowy and not tight fitting. I’ve also noticed a lot of people wearing white converse, which are very cute but I feel like I would get them dirty within an hour of wearing them. Rose gold is also a trend lately that I’m digging, so the watch and bracelet are perfect to show off your girly style.
Damn Raeanne, back at it again with the boyfriend jeans. (I’m sorry, I saw the chance and I just had to take it.) This is also a very casual outfit that is a little more on the girly side. I think the open knit cardigan is super cute and is a spring staple piece for me, it would also make a great beach coverup in the summer! Dual purposes, people. The nude top is also a staple for me because nude (just like black!) can go with anything and everything. Dress it up, dress it down, go out in THE nude, whatever makes you happy! I added a three layer necklace to this look too, which are also super popular. My favorite youtuber Aspyn has been seeing wearing a three layer necklace lately (p.s. I need one). The shoes are a cute pair of loafers in a light brown, but you could switch them out for a different pair of flats, or even heels if you wanted. And of course, the beautiful boyfriend jeans.
I’m not going to lie, this outfit was totally inspired by the beautiful Carli Bybel. I’m loving the nude trend and also the long jackets/cardigans, I think they’re a great piece to have in your closet. The lace crop top is simple, but elegant and will add a girly vibe to your outfit, or maybe I should say more feminine since that sounds more grown up. I’m a huge fan of dark wash jeans too, I think they make you look a little bit more put together than light wash jeans (which to be honest, is pretty much all I have.) The shoes! I love shoes and these heels are giving me life right now. I love the wood heel/platform, very chic and stylish and I love the ankle strap. Lastly, a pearl/marble-like clutch with gold accents is really cute and easy to grab and store everything you need with you to take on your day or night.
