cruelty free, makeup, wishlist January Beauty Wishlist January 20, 2016

januarywishI love things. I don’t know why, but I just love having things. Is anyone else this way? Please tell me I’m not alone…anyways, I thought I would share with you all some of the things on my wish list for this month, incase you’re looking for something new to try out.

First off, we have the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques. I’m a college kid, so I obviously cannot afford a beauty blender which is why this dupe is something I’m dying to get my hands on. I used to have a cheap knock-off of the beauty blender and loved the way it applied my foundation and since I’m trying out Flower’s liquid foundation, I feel like I should invest in this for a more dewy and airbrushed finish to my foundation.

I’m all about the brows…and mine are terrible. Being a natural blonde sucks (sometimes, especially in the brow department). My brows are so light that I need to put something on them to make them look good. I am still loving my Milani brow dip, but I want to try NYX’s Tinted Brow Mascara and their Micro Brow Pencil (which I’ve heard is a dupe for Anastasia’s Brow Wiz!) My brows are also very uneven for two reasons. I messed them up, and it’s just my face. One of my brows is just higher than the other and it’s something I’m actually kind of insecure about, so I may get a brow lift someday. Not kidding.

Pacifica has the prettiest makeup and I can’t wait to try some of their eyeshadows, and they are cruelty free. Enlighten is an eye brightening eyeshadow quad that I think would compliment blue eyes amazingly. The colors look gorgeous and ugh, I need this palette.

I love to pamper myself, especially my face. I give my face lots of special attention especially because it is sensitive. This Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mask from Pür unclogs pores, cleanses and exfoliates. This is like everything in one product, so it’s a must, right? (At least that’s what I’m telling myself).

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m ADDICTED to lippies. Everything lippies. I love lippies. Frickin’ love them. I had a great first impression of ColourPop’s lippie stix, so I have been dying to get my hands on their ultra matte liquid lipstick, especially in the shade Trap. This is a gorgeous gre-iege (as people like to say). I’m trying to find new colors that I wouldn’t normally wear and so far so good, I love them all!

I love a good powder and I also love an affordable one, so that’s why you can’t go wrong with anything from Wet N Wild (except their liquid eye makeup remover…stay far away from it). I want this powder to set my foundation since I threw out my Stay Matte by Rimmel powder since I’m only trying to use and promote cruelty free products. I’ve heard good things about this Wet N Wild powder so I want to snatch it up ASAP!

Curling my lashes is a must and my current eye lash curler is just not cutting it for me anymore (thanks for being with me though for like the past 3 years, you’re the real MVP). I just need to try something new, you know? This one from elf is affordable and sleek looking. I can’t wait to have it!

I’ve really been getting into doing more eye makeup looks and I’m lacking in the eye brush department (actually, I’m really not, but who doesn’t need more brushes? See I’m telling you, I love things!) I LOVE my Real Techniques Core Collection brushes, so with having such a great experience with those, I need this starter set from Real Techniques…it’s such a pretty purple, I need it.

Well that’s all for today! Thank you for reading.

Let me know down in the comments what items are on your wishlist! 🙂

review, skincare Oz Naturals Ocean Minerals Facial Cleanser | Review * January 19, 2016

I’m a cleanser junkie, I’m always trying them out and trying to figure out which ones work best for my skin. I have combination skin, usually oily in my t-zone (sometimes) and dry everywhere else. My skin is also very sensitive so I have to be careful what I use and since I recently went cruelty free, I have to look more into what items I’m purchasing. I was fortunate enough to have this product sent to me through Brandbacker to review for you guys, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it!

Oz Naturals is a brand that is cruelty free and proudly made in the USA. They also have vegan formulas,  biodegradable products & use recycled products – plus so much more. Companies like these make me really happy and proud to use them since they do so much extra to make sure their products are high quality and are also helping the Earth. It’s a win-win for us all.

Now onto the review…
First off, it’s a cleanser so it’s obviously going to have that normal cleanser smell, but it’s not too overwhelming and the smell didn’t turn me off to the cleanser. There are 92+ ocean minerals that heal and soothe skin, something I need for my dry irritated skin. It gives you a deep clean to unclog your pores and fight toxins on your face to help prevent future breakouts. Since my skin is sensitive, I need something that is going to be gentle on my skin and this product totally is. No burning or irritation after I’ve used it (I think that’s a first for any cleanser that I’ve used before). This cleanser also lathers very well, which makes it easier to apply in my opinion. The lather also makes me think that it’s actually doing a better job of cleaning since it’s all bubbly (am I the only one who thinks that?) Overall, this product has made my skin so SOFT and clear. I had a few small breakouts and it helped to reduce the redness and bumps which I’m so happy about. I totally recommend this product if you’re looking for something that will be gentle on your skin and actually cleanse like it’s supposed to.

If you’re interested in trying the Oz Naturals Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser, then click here. They also have tons of other products that I can’t wait to get my hands onto, you can check those out here.

Disclaimer: Yes, this product was sent to me to review, but sponsorships/items sent to me do not alter my opinion in anyway. I’m here to help you (my readers) to find new products that you may have never heard about. I am all about giving 100% reviews, whether I’m paid for the review, sent the item or I purchase it myself. Just something to keep in mind for my past/future reviews.

Thank you for reading and let me know if you want to try this cleanser out 🙂

cruelty free, makeup, youtube ColourPop Lippie Stix Review | Video January 12, 2016

I’m totally digging doing videos lately, since I feel like its a little bit easier to share my opinion/show you guys that I’m actually using the product rather than just writing about it.

Today, I do a first impressions/review of the ColourPop Lippie Stix in Tootsi, Silk & Dalia (which are all gorgeous colors). Watch the video above to hear my opinion or keep reading for a more detailed review 🙂
