Hey my loves! I recently went to my local Lush store and fell in love with all of their options. I’ve shopped online with them in the past, but definitely enjoyed going to the store more! I wasn’t really sure what to pick out so I decided to grab the Hello Gorgeous gift set so I could try out a good amount of different products! It was $42.50 for the gift box and it contained 6 items, a mix of bath and shower products + skincare!
Ro’s Argan smells absolutely amazing and feels great on the skin too! This has a generous amount in it so I know I’ll definitely be getting a lot of use out of it – and when this one is done, I’m totally getting the full sized! It says to use it while you’re still in the shower, but I don’t, I just apply it like a regular body lotion. I know, I’m breakin’ the rules but you gotta do what you gotta do.
So this is a teeeeny sample of the Gorgeous moisturizer, which costs $90 for the full sized *yikes*. The girl at Lush told me that this sample should last me three weeks (lol, what?) so that I can get a good feel for it and see if it works with my skincare routine, since it takes about a month for stuff to start working for you. I have not tried it yet, mainly because I’m doing well with my current skincare routine and I’m not sure how this would be on my skin but also because the container is incredibly hard to open (or maybe I’m just a lil’ pathetic).
I’m really excited to try this shower cream out! The Comforter smells soooo good and it looks gorgeous in the bottle. I haven’t used it yet since I’ve been trying to use up the body wash in my shower right now but I’m ready to just ditch what I have and finally give this a go. I’ve heard so many good things about their shower creams and I love that they’re affordable and natural!
The Comforter also comes in a bubble bar! I’m pretty sure I tried one of their bubble bars before, but I was confused on how to use it, but this time I figured it out! I took a bath the other night and broke off a couple chunks of this and ran it under the water, it made the water a pretty pink color and added some nice bubbles which reminded me of my childhood! (Bubble baths were the shhhhizz). This isn’t full sized but you can definitely get a couple of uses out of it.
This bath bomb totally reminds me of a jawbreaker, anyone else? Sakura is a bath bomb that totally relaxes you. It smells really good and my skin felt incredibly soft after getting out of the tub. A lot of reviews on the Lush website don’t sound too good about this one, but I really liked it since the scent was subtle and not overwhelming like some other products I’ve tried. Very mellow and very calming, very much like.
This is the Rub Rub Rub body scrub and it smells incredible. I took it out of the bag to take a picture of it and I was blown away at how good it smells, definitely floral like the other products in the gift set. I like the color too! I haven’t used this one yet, since I’m still working on a body scrub that I have in my shower but I will definitely give this one a go. I think it might be a new favorite of mine!
I also grabbed two things in addition to the gift set.
This is my new favorite thing. As you guys know, I’ve been having a lot of problems with my skin and my acne since my birth control is the legit devil. I’ve tried tons of different things and most of them were slightly successful but not entirely successful if you know what I mean? I wanted to try this out since I know tea tree water is good for acne spots and killing bacteria and all that kind of stuff. This is a toner water that feels so refreshing on the skin, it’s now a must for me. It doesn’t dry me out like I expected it to and helps my skin stay balanced. I spray it on my face before bed and in the morning to freshen up. I highly recommend it! I’ve been using it like crazy, I might need to get another one soon.
Lastly, Lush works with charities and I love that about them. This is the shark fin soap and it’s super cute and I love the message behind it. This year 100% of the proceeds from this bar of soap will support the completion Rob Stewart’s newest documentary Sharkwater: Extinction – all extra funds will be used to continue his legacy to help save sharks and the ocean which I think is amazing! This soap is sold out on their website but I’m not sure if you can still get it in store – I’m happy I got it when I did.
Soooo, I may become a Lush addict now, especially since there’s one only 20 minutes away from me…do you have any Lush recommendations for me? Let me know!
I hope you enjoyed the post!
Thanks so much for reading, as always <3
