Hey my loves! Long time, no post – yet again. Life has just been super crazy for me lately and I’ve been busy working on my graphic design portfolio and working and taking classes. I finished some of my work early so I have some time to sit down and write a blog post (finally!) Today I’m writing about my first FabFitFun box, my sister recommended that I get it, so I figured why not?
First off, I love the box! The autumn themed illustrations are so cute. I think the box also came in purple but I got the orange version.
Like most subscription boxes, you get some literature telling you what’s in the box.
And you also get a card with a code to share with friends! So I’m sharing mine with you 🙂
The first thing I got in my box was this super cute white and black polka dot umbrella! Everyone needs an umbrella, especially with the super rainy weather we’ve been having lately. I love the print and it feels like it’s very good quality.
Next up is this Blue in Capri shower gel which smells soooo good. It’s a cruelty free product and I’m super excited to try it out once I finish up my current body wash.
Next is a Luna Rica bar, in the flavor salted caramel nut! It’s REALLY good and I definitely want to buy more.
I’m really pleased with the mix of products you get. This is the Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Day Cream. I love that it’s in a metal tube, reminds me of the olden days. It’s free from a ton of nasty chemicals, which I appreciate! I haven’t tried it yet but I’m excited to – I’ll let you guys know how it goes!
I also got two sheet masks from Glamglow, however Glamglow is not cruelty free so I will not be using these! I’m going to pass them off to a friend so they don’t go to waste.
Next up is the Dew It All eye cream from Farmacy. I’ve tried a face mask from Farmacy before and I really liked it so I was super excited to see this in my Fabfitfun box! I’m currently using a different eye cream from Derma E, so once I finish that up I’ll definitely be using this. How cute is the packaging?!
Okay so, I was definitely most excited for this, a beautyblender. I’ve used the RealTechniques sponge for years and I love that it’s affordable and available at the drugstore buttttt I’ve always wanted to try the beautyblender but couldn’t justify spending so much on a makeup sponge. I haven’t used it yet (almost kind of don’t want to, it’s like a collection piece to me now, y’know?) but I definitely will use it when my current makeup sponge needs to be retired. Do you have a beautyblender? Do you like it or do you think it’s overrated? Let me know in the comments!
I also got this super cute ceramic teapot. I’m not a huge loose leaf tea drinker, but I think this tea pot is so cute and would be a great decoration in anyone’s’ kitchen.
Another accessory for the kitchen – some towels! I feel like towels are something you can never have enough of (I know I can’t). I like how simple the pattern is and I think they’re really dainty and cute! (How many times have I said cute in this post so far?)
Lastly – but definitely not least!
A Vince Camuto vegan leather bag. I love the combo of the black and brown vegan leather, I know most people don’t like to mix brown and black together but I really like the way it looks. The bag is pretty simple and doesn’t have much structure but it does have a nice sized pocket on the inside for your phone or keys. I think this bag would be great for a day trip and definitely could be used all year long.
I must say that…
I’m impressed with Fabfitfun and I definitely will be keeping my subscription. It’s not too expensive and you get a box full of goodies 4x a year for only $50! You get so much good stuff that you could totally give some of the stuff in the box away as gifts if it doesn’t suit you or your style.
You can save $10 on your first box if you’re interested in subscribing!
I hope you guys enjoyed the post! Have you gotten Fabfitfun before? Thoughts? What did you think of this seasons’ box? Let me know!
Thanks so much for reading, as always <3
