Hey loves! If you remember the post about 100% Pure‘s jingle sale, I gave you guys a list of what I wanted to pick up during the sale – so here’s that post! I picked up the 2nd Skin Foundation in Creme and the Luminous Primer, and with my order I qualified for the samples they were offering! If you’re interested in some pictures and what I think about the products, keep on reading!
This foundation is seriously amazing, I was afraid that I wasn’t going to like it much – but I love it. The color match is also great for me too, although it looks way more orange and dark in the photos…but I swear it gets lighter when you blend it in. I got the lightest shade, Creme.
This foundation retails for $45 and comes in 7 different shades.
Here are some of the claims on the box…
I totally agree that it acts like a 2nd skin. When I blended it in the first time, I was so amazed at how undetectable it is! Compared to my other foundations, I definitely like it a whole lot more. This totally blows the others out of the water (Q. Would you be interested in a foundation faceoff post? Let me know!) I love how the foundation has healthy ingredients and antioxidants, which most foundations don’t have. It is pricey, but totally worth it for me.
They say that a primer isn’t necessary, but I’ve noticed foundations haven’t really been sticking to my skin without one, so I used the luminous primer with this when I tried it out and I must say, I really love the combination of the two. I didn’t notice the foundation oxidizing throughout the day and it didn’t cling to my dry patches. I definitely should have set it with a powder but I didn’t the first time, so that’s one thing to take into consideration. I definitely recommend it though for dry skin, since it’s a serum based foundation.
Next up is the luminous primer! I actually picked this up since I saw Becky from Cruelty Free Becky using it in a video on YouTube and I’m really glad I did! It retails for $35, which again, is pricey – but it’s only $3 more than my used-to-be-favorite primer from Too Faced. I feel like this primer actually does something for me, unlike the Hangover primer (which I really felt like it was a moisturizer than anything else…).
I love love looooove how it fills in my pores to create a flawless finish for my foundation, which is really what I was searching for in a primer. I also love how it’s a luminous primer for obvious reasons – my dry, dry skin. It pairs amazingly with the 2nd skin foundation and I’m sure it would work well with all other foundations too. Again, it’s formulated with healthy ingredients – so it’s a win win!
Here are the samples I got with my order, which I’m super pleased with. They’re the PERFECT size for traveling or trying things out. I’m going on a cruise in a few months and I’ve been trying to find skincare items that I can take with me, without having to transfer it into new containers and stuff or buy new products, you know?
In order L-R:

I also got these really nice brushes with the samples. I love their look! The white is so beautiful and I love the sparkly handles and I can’t wait to use them! These are also available on their website and are currently being offered in their trunk sale!
Lastly I got these sachets of shampoo – again, another item I’m super stoked to take on my cruise. This is the Burdock & Neem Healthy Scalp Shampoo, which I’m quite excited to use (although, I definitely will be saving them for the cruise because I have lots of scalp issues lol).
I’m super pleased with my purchase, and I definitely will be grabbing more items from 100% Pure in the future. I highly suggest signing up for their newsletters so you’ll know when they’re having sales, which I also suggest taking advantage of 🙂
Their annual TRUNK SALE (with items up to 60% off) ends on 01/07/2017, so if there’s something you have your eye on – now is the time to get it 🙂
I hope you enjoyed the post! What’s your fave item from 100% Pure or what’s on your wishlist? Let me know!

I’ve never tried this brand but I’m always trying to find a foundation that feels and looks like natural skin, or close to it! Great post 🙂
